For this month, I am going to give you a little of what is my ever-growing knowledge of what happens after death through my own mediumistic experiences and the use of the faculty in the last 10 years.
So, what happens after we die is quite the question! The truth is that an enormous part of it is still very much unknown. If we leave our cultural and religious perceptions to one side, there is much we simply do not know.
I have certain beliefs of what I think happens, but I would be the first to admit that they are simply a best guess or an ever changing hypothesis. However, through the use of the mediumship faculty there are certain things I now feel I ‘know’. Now that being said, my ‘knowing’ is still coming through my perception and therefore open to debate. It is however, things that other mediums I speak to have also experienced within their own development and communication with those who have passed. Below is just a small sample of some of what appears to happen as we move beyond the physical.
One thing that has become clear is that we are eternal, and death seems almost to be a passing through a doorway into another aspect of our being. If you think about how a radio station is tuned into a certain frequency and when we pass, we simply move into a different frequency that we can no longer access with our five senses, but that is still very real. That ‘other place’ is busy. Just like there is a busyness here, there is one over there as well. What do I mean by this? That there is movement over there and things to do. Maybe not the mundane needs to sustain our physical body we have here but there is still a purpose over there too.
For instance, I have found that through giving repeated readings to people, the same contact can come through again if there is a need. At different times, that person who has passed energy is very different, and it becomes very apparent they have gone through a ‘shift’ or a transformation on the other side. An evolvement of their soul. For example, I have bought a father through who had a very troubled existence in the physical and did not behave at his best when it came to his family. The first time he came through, we had very clear evidence to establish it was him, but it was clear as I stayed with his energy that he was not ready to acknowledge how difficult he was to those closest to him. As a medium you have to careful of not putting words in their mouth because of your need to make the client feel better, but that is another topic within itself. Anyway, fast forward several years, and I saw the client again and her father came through for a different need. This time it was clear he had undergone some discovery in the spirit realm and was deeply sorrowful for the pain he had caused and wanted to get this across. Interestingly, this coincided with a shift within the client as well, but again, that is another topic. This session created a great healing for both the father in Spirit and the client herself and helped deepen their journeys forward.
So, you see death while an ‘escape’ of the physical body and the pain it brings it is not an escape of our deeper psychological processes that remain in our unconscious. We do not automatically become ‘wise’ when we pass into Spirit. Our journey simply continues. How that journey manifests or looks like I do not know, but what I will say is that ‘wisdom’ can also be attained here in the physical and it is only through embracing our own ‘living’ that we can begin to unravel it. Leave the journey of death for when it is your time. There is an infinite magic in the physical that still needs to be discovered for us all.
